Purple heart or Peltogyne is a richly coloured hardwood that turns purple as it oxides. The wood is handturned and set in a bevelled titanium core, the purple contrasting beautifully against the metal.
Pictured ring is size P, 6mm wide with a 3mm inlay.
Each order will be made from the same piece of timber as the photograph, though each ring and grain pattern will be unique due to the nature of working with natural materials.
